Our Services and Remuneration


Independence Disclosure:

We may receive commissions, fees, gifts, or other benefits from product issuers. Additionally, we have associations with some insurance product providers. This impacts our impartiality as defined by section 923A of the Corporations Act. More details are in this FSG.

When offering personal advice, we’ll provide additional information, possibly in a Statement of Advice (SOA), covering our advice basis, remuneration, and relevant associations.

Our Financial Services and Tailored Advice


We provide general insurance advice and can arrange general insurance products for retail and wholesale clients. For personal advice, we may require details of your financial situation, goals, and needs. If you do not provide this information, our advice may not fully align with your requirements.


Commercial Contractual Liability:

Some contracts may affect your insurance coverage. We recommend legal review before accepting such clauses.


Privacy and Record-Keeping

We maintain records of your profile and transactions. Our privacy policy, available on request or at www.dunkinsurance.com.au, ensures the security of your information. You may view your file at any time by request.


Fees and Commissions



• Service Payment: Premiums charged by insurers include taxes, charges, and levies. We receive a commission from insurers based on your premium (0-30%).

• Additional Fees: Fees, if applicable, are shown on your invoice.

• Trust Account Interest: We retain interest earned on premiums held in our trust account.


Our Steadfast Association


As a Steadfast Network Broker, we have access to exclusive services and support. Steadfast also receives fees from insurers to access this network, which may indirectly benefit us.


Complaints Process


If you have a complaint, please contact us directly. If unresolved within five days, reach out to John Dunk or James Dunk at (02) 6382 7447, or submit your complaint in writing. If necessary, complaints can be escalated to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at:

Client Compensation Arrangements
